T-Shirt Fit Guide for South Asian Builds: Slim vs Relaxed
Neck drop, shoulder point, and sleeve length decide whether your tee looks tailored or sloppy. Here is how to dial each one in.
Neckline and collar height
Crew necks should hug without choking. If you see gaping when you lean forward, size down; if the collar rolls, the rib weight is too light.
Shoulder point
The seam should land at the tip of the shoulder. Broader chests can keep a relaxed body as long as this seam is sharp—it keeps the tee looking intentional, not oversized by accident.
Sleeve length
Aim for mid-bicep. For gym builds, try a half-inch shorter sleeve to highlight the tricep curve without squeezing.
Body length
Your tee should end midway down the fly. Longer cuts can be tucked; shorter cuts work with high-rise trousers and look cleaner when layered under overshirts.
How we cut Shadakala tees
We use a slightly relaxed chest with a clean shoulder and a straight hem. The silhouette stays tidy when layered with chinos, cargos, or denim.
